Systems Thinking Infrastructure

Systems Thinking can be effectively achieved by an individual with just three components:

• A brain   

• A pencil   

• A piece of paper. 

Organizations require more than this however. They need trained staff, they need facilities, they need equipment and they need support. These aspects are elements of the infrastructure. But they have to be right. Organizations often “make do” with poor facilities, barely serviceable equipment, and bureaucracy. Making do is not a systems attitude.
